Scope & Content:
Black wood frame poster has blue background. Pieced together from three separate sheets of paper with newspaper headlines typed in black ink from Blue's court cases. Middle has black and white photo of Blue standing at construction site with tights, boots, leotard, vest, long gloves, hat and whip. Blue's foot is near briefcase with her name stenciled in white.
Back — frame nailed in place with hanging wire. Back masonite board painted light green mushroom with checkerboard pattern with each box having white circle. 2 bottom corner has brown felt dots. Several pieces of scotch tape along top and bottom edge which holds poster to board. Top edge has two additional nail picture hangers.

Notes:
Belle Blue was flamboyant activist in Juneau who fought against parking garage. Poster was gift from Jeff Brown to Bob Pavitt in early 1980's when Belle was protesting parking garage construction. She also protested the building of the library on top of the garage after she moved to the Anchorage area.

Came off exhibit in the "Capital City" exhibit, June, 2008.
