Register of voters' signatures from Precinct three(3) in Juneau, Alaska, April 1, 1947. Judges and Clerks of Election signatures on inside cover. This was a general city election with constituents voting for mayor, councilmen, and school director. The last pages list the results of the election.
People also voting on two proposals: city purchase of the uitility, Juneau Water Works and city purchase of Alaska Electric Light and Power (AEL&P).
Three more questions labeled as "UNOFFICAL BALLOTS": sale of the City Dock, limit on the number of liquor establishments within the city, and if the city purchases Alaska Electric Light and Power (AEL&P), will the city continue to carry on a retail business within the establishment.
