Ravenstail Weaving Sample

Top of weaving is white with a single black line making a box pattern around a red and black applique of a raven. The black threads emerge from the weaving on proper left lower corner and extend to the same length as the bottom fringe. The warp threads are .25" in diameter and the other threads are 3 ply yarn. The woven part is 6" x 5.5".

The white area is called two—strand twinning, and the 'black line' is three strand twinning. The applique is 'felt'.
