Description:
Black leather covered cardboard suitcase. Leather handle with brass plated iron connecting pieces. Brass and brass plated iron latches w/ keyholes. 4 black metal foot caps. Leather hinge stitched with cotton thread. Interior line with pale green moire taffeta with water—marked embossed design, likely rayon. Gathered pocket in lid. Fabric straps hold lid upright when case is open. 2 stiffeners under green lining on top and bottom of case.
Inscription: 0.5 inch high numbers imprinted into back exterior of case: "22" / "8882"
