Description:
Capital Terminator editorial cartoon by Tony Newman.
Pen and ink drawing of a man representing "The Terminanator." The figure is wearing dark sunglasses and a black jacket with its collar turned up. He has a scowl on his face and is saying "I'LL BE BACK.". On the proper right tab of his collar he is wearing a button that says "WASILLA 2004". On the proper right the drawing is titled THE CAPITAL TERMINATOR.
Notes:
Cartoon is poking fun at the attempts to move the capital from Juneau. The figure represented is the "Terminator" from the movie starring Arnold Schwartzennegger as a cyborg, whose famous line is "I'll Be Back." So what the cartoon is saying is that the question of moving the capital is done for the moment, but it will get raised again in the future.
