Description:
1909 calendar plate, white crackle finish with gilt rim. Outside border of front is transfer print calendar for 1909, divided into fourths. Jan—Feb—March at top; April—May—June at right, etc. Each set of 3 red printed calendar is surrounded by holly((?) border. Between each set is gilt flower. Center is drawing of 7 swallows in flight over dock, sailboat and ocean. Yellow flowers are over drawing's top. Gilt inscription below drawing reads: "COMPLIMENTS OF / P.H. FOX / DOUGLAS, ALASKA".
Back: White crackle with 1 inch by 5 inch green inscription: "Dresden / China" surrounded by leaf pattern.
