Title:
Mouse—eared Electric Wire Insulator in Aqua Blue Glass
Description:
An aqua—blue glass insulator with "mouse—ear" prongs and a cup—like base. Presumably the electrical wire would ride in—between the two thick glass prongs. Embossed on the side of the base is, "Knowles Cable Insulator "Patented. June. 17. 1890'". The interior of the insulator is hollow with a series of threads for a screw—on application.
