Description:
Whale themed, blue and white octopus bag by ShgenDooTan George, entitled "Keet Gweli". Both the front and back side of the bag's body and the exterior sides of the eight "arms" of the bag are blue with black felt applique of a stylized whale figure. On the front side of the bag's body and on the exterior side of the four front "arms" are stylized water spouts that resemble traditional floral motifs are beaded over the felt applique. The front side of bag's body also has a series of abalone buttons which outline the top and sides of the black applique. Each of the four front "arms" have two beaded tassels. All the beads are shades of blue or white. The interior sides of all eight "arms", the interior lining of the bag's body and the back side of the strap are all a blue fabric featuring a whale motif pattern. The front side of the strap to the bag is blue fabric with a black fabric and blue bead. At each end of the strap there is an additional beaded water spout. The bag's edges are black.
