Photo—silkscreened images in composition include, at center, blue—grey (11.5 inch) gold pan with brown image at large piece of machinery; in each four corners, brown circular (approximately 4—inch diameter) images including: in lower left, seven—spoked ship's wheel; in upper right, a compass face and two gears. Background is black. Inside mat is light gray, outside mat is brown; brown and silver—finished narrow wood frame with glass.
Inscription: "1/30 Wheels of Fortune" in pencil beneath lower left corner.
"Kathy Andersen — imp 2/79 inches in pencil beneath lower right corner.
Notes:
Acquired by Juneau Centennial Committee. Artwork shows tools and machinery used by early Juneau gold seekers and mining companies. Compass and boat wheel represent travel to Juneau. Gold pan, one crusher, and gears represent finding and processing gold. CBJ Property #04574.
