Description:
20 inches by 5.25 inches zinc etching of four—story totem on handmade fireweed paper. Shrubbery on proper right side near human face, also shrubbery starting at shoulders of Monster frog, ending approximately at eye level of human on proper left. Signature "Dianne Anderson 98(?) 3" proper right lower corner in black marker (ink).
Reverse: "24" written on vertical edges, blue posterboard proper right top corner "4 STORY TOTEM 4TH and MAIN, JUNEAU, AK, zinc etching on handmade paper Dianne Anderson $200.00" taped center is "THE FOUR—STORY TOTEM" story. Lower proper right corner, white address label, copper—colored box around "Ms. Dianne R. Anderson 8750 N. Douglas Hwy Juneau AK 99801—7605"
26.5 inches by 11.5 inches by .75 inch simple wood frame.
Notes:
Artist / donor taught papermaking / printmaking class & had exhibition of her & her son, Ryan's work at the City Museum in Jan / Feb., 1998. Print paper is made of fireweed. Dianne made paper, designed & cut block print, selected & cut mat & assembled framed artwork. Four Story Totem (84.19.001) stands outside City Museum at 4th & Main.
