Drill Steel used in mining.
Long metal drill bit. Flat top with hole drilled into it. Hexagonal body. Base flares out and ends in four points. There is a hole in the middle. This is a pneumatic drill bit.
Notes:
Four points (on base) indicates that this is a pneumatic drill steel.

This drill bit would have been attached to a machine and a hole would have been drilled in the mine shaft wall. Dynamite is inserted into the hole. After the dynamite is blown, the ore is collected and processed.
