Gold—Colored Juneau Fire Department Belt Buckle

Description:
Gold—toned rectangular buckle, with sides bulging out slightly. Polished border with embossed central design. Raised round center of fireman's helmet, crossed ladder, horn, hook and hose, in rope pattern border, flanked by horizontal polished geometric shapes. "J.F.D." inscribed on polished lozenge at bottom, flanked by laurel leaves. Back of central design is textured. Front soldered to back buckle with flanges to accommodate belt 1.375 inches wide. Hinged buckle on back tightens belt and has rectangular opening numbers and "top". Embossed on inside.
