Wood Engraving Block
Two—sided wood block. with almost identical scenes on both sides. In both scenes, a large bear is being hunted and attacked by two men holding spears and knives. The bear is growling in response and the men are about to make contact. The scene seems to be set in a forest The sides appear to be identical except one—side is stained a medium brown while the other side is stained a dark brown. On the bottom edge, an attached white label is printed with the "The Hunters."
