Wood Engraving Block
One—sided wood block portraying a woman's face. The face is round with slanted eyes, a rectangular mouth, connected eyebrows and nose and two circles at her chin. The face is surrounded by a dark background with only the corners cleared. Within the dark background is an animal symbol with three engraved circles in its body. The animal's tail protrudes into the round face. The letter M is carved into the lower left—hand corner of the woodblock.
