Description:
A — Round bottomed bottle of green glass, covered with twined, split spruce root.
B — Twined split spruce root lid as finished edge; decorated with 2 raised lines of weaving in 2 shades of brown. Bottle decorated with false embroidery in natural colors. Beginning at neck and moving downward, decorative pattern consists of 3 groups of 3 raised bands of weaving, (2 dark and 1 light). Embroidery at fullest part of bottle is woven in 2 shades of brown of unknown pattern and bordered by 2 dark brown bands. Regular close weave and unfinished edge at top of bottle neck are typical.
C — Detached bail: length of braided, split spruce root and black cotton thread; center section wrapped with natural cotton.
