Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard frame (off white with red rear text "Color Transparency"). The frame is labeled "One of 'Clean Gus's' cabins up Stickine[sic] River — 7—6—69" in handwriting. The image shows a narrow band of gray river water, bounded at the middling area by a muddy grass embankment. The shore above the embankment has a small clearing with a short wooden structure with a peaked roof, and a metal frame structure standing open over a garden. There is a fence at right. Tall trees surround the property, getting thicker as the forest moves into the background. The text "JUL69" is etched into the frame at the upper edge, possibly signifying the date of development.
