Set of four (4) sample postcards from box (2014.11.034 A—B) used at Paul Bloedhorn's jewelry shop. These four postcards feature photographs of the Taku Arm and Taku Glacier

A: Black and white horizontal postcard. Front has a photograph of a landscape. Mountains are reflected in water. In the lower proper right corner is an illustration of a scroll with text reading: "WEST TAKU ARM". In the upper proper left corner there is purple text stamped on to the card which reads: "SAMPLE \ PLEASE ORDER BY NUMBER \ THIS IS NO. _______ \ Scenic Photo Publishing Co. \ 614 1st Ave. SEATTLE". On the line for the number is "A100" handwritten in black ink. One the back is black typed text reading: "SCENIC PHOTO PUBLISHING CO. SEATTLE WASH \ POST CARD \ CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS". There are two black horizontal lines between the "POST CARD" and "CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS".

B: Black and white horizontal postcard. Front has a photograph of a landscape. Mountains are reflected in water. In the lower proper right corner is an illustration of a scroll with text reading: "Reflections in Taku Arm". At center along the upper edge is purple text stamped on to the card which reads: "SAMPLE \ PLEASE ORDER BY NUMBER \ THIS IS NO. _______ \ Scenic Photo Publishing Co. \ 614 1st Ave. SEATTLE". On the line for the number is "A111" handwritten in black ink. One the back is black typed text reading: "SCENIC PHOTO PUBLISHING CO. SEATTLE WASH \ POST CARD \ CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS". There are two black horizontal lines between the "POST CARD" and "CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS".

C: Black and white horizontal postcard. Front has a photograph of a landscape. Mountains in background; water in foreground. There are buildings along the coast line. White text in the water reads: "300. Ben—My—Chree, Head of West Taku Arm.". At center along the upper edge is purple text stamped on to the card which reads: "SAMPLE \ PLEASE ORDER BY NUMBER \ THIS IS NO. _______ \ Scenic Photo Publishing Co. \ 614 1st Ave. SEATTLE". On the line for the number is "A300" handwritten in black ink. One the back is black typed text reading: "SCENIC PHOTO PUBLISHING CO. SEATTLE WASH \ POST CARD \ CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS". There are two black horizontal lines between the "POST CARD" and "CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS". Text on back is upside down along lower edge.

D: Black and white horizontal postcard. Front has a photograph of a steamship in front of a glacier. There are icebergs in the water around the ship and in the foreground. Mountains in the background. In the lower proper right corner is an illustration of a scroll with text reading: "ADMIRAL LINER \ AT TAKU GLACIER". In the lower proper left corner is purple text stamped on to the card which reads: "SAMPLE \ PLEASE ORDER BY NUMBER \ THIS IS NO. _______ \ Scenic Photo Publishing Co. \ 614 1st Ave. SEATTLE". On the line for the number is "PSA10" handwritten in black ink. One the back is black typed text reading: "SCENIC PHOTO PUBLISHING CO. SEATTLE WASH \ POST CARD \ CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS". There are two black horizontal lines between the "POST CARD" and "CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS".
