Black and white photograph of two men walking on a steep, snow covered mountain side. They are both facing the photographer. Both are holding poles or other tools in their hands which are sticking into the side of the mountain. Sky and snow topped mountains in background. Verso has a stamped "89" or "68" in the lower proper right corner in blue ink.

Located in photo album (2013.08.011A). Attached to album page by corner tabs. White text on album page reads: "Snow Scenes on a trip up Mt. Roberts in May \ 1929".

The album belonged to William G. Brian Harland. He was a mechanic for Alaska—Washington Airways and Alaska Southern Airways. He was based out of Juneau.
