A photographic slide in a small cardboard frame (off white with red rear text "Color Transparency"). The frame is labeled "Juneau 3/7/65" in handwriting. The image shows a portion of the Gastineau Channel occuping the foreground, from left to center—right, where a far shore lies. The shore is very mountainous, with steep slopes extending upward from the water's edge, heavily snowcapped. The shore extends toward the left into the background. At left in the foreground, portholes of a boat are visible. The number "16" is printed in ink on the frame at the upper left.
