A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "July 4 1957" in handwriting. The image shows a slightly diagonal view of the intersection of Seward and First Streets, looking toward Franklin Street on the parade route. The 20th Century Gross Building features prominently at left. The Juneau city marching band is traveling on First Street, toward the camera, clad in their blue and gray uniforms, led by dancers in red, orange, and white. Behind them, red trucks are traveling along First as well. The number "12" is printed in ink on the frame at the upper left.
