Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard frame (off white with red rear text "Color Transparency"). The frame is labeled "Lena Pt. 9/66" in handwriting. The image shows an aerial view (probably captured from an aircraft) of a section of hilly coastline thick with growth northwest of Juneau proper. The coast juts out from the right side of the image, curving into a narrow outcropping at the center left, forming Lena Point. The coast is surrounded by a strip of narrow beach. The waters of the Favorite Channel flow around the point and far into the background. The number "16" is printed in ink on the frame at the upper left.
