Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "July 4 1956" in handwriting. The image shows the Golden North Salmon Derby float parked at a staging area in a lot. The three mermaids are sitting on it, and there is also a sculptural depiction of a leaping fish at the rear of the float. Behind them is a building bearing a sign for Goodyear. Beyond that, mountains are visible in the distance. The number "13" is printed in ink on the frame at the upper left.
