A — Album page, 7" x 11.25" manilla paper , with handwritten captions on front and back.
B — Image, "Churches of Juneau, Alaska" on white paper with five small hand—tinted images of Juneau churches in circular or rectangular borders. Clockwise from top proper right: Presbyterian Church, Russian Church, Episcopal Catholic Church, Methodist Church, Catholic Church and School. Handwritten captions on album page to proper left of images: "1 Russian church — The Russian Christmas is celebrated Jan. 7 —". Next to Episcopal Catholic Church: "2 — We attended midnight mass here Christmas eve, the beautiful service lasted until one forty, A.M. Dec. 24 1935." Next to Methodist Church: "3. Where we attended church. Rev. O.L. Kendall, formerly of Buhl, Idaho, is pastor here."

White curtains in windows, "Hotel Zynda" written across first—floor window; large letters spelling "The Zynda" mounted on roof. Corner of white house in lower proper left corner; mountains in background. Handwritten caption to proper left of photo reads: "A newer hotel than the other two. A little farther from dock than others also. This has an elevation. Several teachers room here. Miss Bourne — Colorado, Miss Hanson — North Dakota, Miss Rawher — Spangle, WA."
E — Image, "Mendenhall Glacier and Auk Lake from Glacier Highway, Juneau, Alaska," hand—tinted image on white paper. Dirt road in lower proper left corner, grass and trees across foreground with lake beyond reflecting mountain and glacier in central background. Sky is pale blue fading to pale peach near horizon, with white clouds. Dappled sun and shadows in foreground. Handwritten below photo: "We went by this pretty lake on our way to glacier. At the glacier we walked up near as could get. The coloring of snow and ice were beautiful shades of blue."
