Description:
Black and white photograph of two men standing on a pontoon of a float plane (sea plane). The section of the plane's cabin, wing, pontoons and tail are in view from the right side of the aircraft. Mountains in background. Wooden hanger dock in foreground. Both men are young, possibly in their 20's or 30's. Both are standing with their hands in their pants pockets. One man is wearing a button up sweater. The other is wearing argyle socks. Partially visible text on the side of the aircraft identifies the plane as a part of the Alaska—Washington Airway's fleet.
Verso has a stamped number "2" in the lower proper right corner in blue ink.
Photographs is captioned as "The Crew" for the plane. Photograph is taken in Juneau.
