Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "July 4th 1950" in handwriting. The image shows a makeshift parade float, fashioned out of a flatbed truck with a red cab. The truck holds a sign reading "4—H Auk Bay". The truck is decorated with garlands and green and white fabric trim. The people on the truck bed are dressed in green drapery and hold an American flag. The building directly behind the truck bears a sign for Jorgenson's Motors. The background is populated by lower mountain slopes and small buildings. The number "8" is imprinted on the frame at the upper left.
