Description:
Black and white photograph of a float plane (sea plane) in front of a wooden aircraft hanger. The float plane is viewed from the front. It has a two—bladed propeller on its nose. There are two men near the plane. One appears to be in the cockpit while the other is standing on the hanger's wooden ramp next to the aircraft. There are tools, barrels, rope and other miscellaneous objects on the hanger floor. The shoreline, buildings and tree covered mountains in background. Water in foreground. The hanger was used by the Juneau Flying Club.

Verso has a stamped number "47" in the lower proper right corner in blue ink.

The album belonged to William G. Brian Harland. He was a mechanic for Alaska—Washington Airways and Alaska Southern Airways. He was based out of Juneau.
