Black and white photograph of a float plane (sea plane) in a wooden aircraft hanger. The float plane is viewed from the front. It has a two—bladed propeller on its nose. There is a man in the cockpit of the air plane looking at the camera over the propeller. There are tools, barrels, rope and other miscellaneous objects on the hanger floor. The plane is a Klemm aircraft which was a German developed/produced plane. The hanger was used by the Juneau Flying Club.

Verso has a stamped number "73" in the lower proper right corner in blue ink. Handwritten in pencil on the back is also the words: "gordon \ John".

The album belonged to William G. Brian Harland. He was a mechanic for Alaska—Washington Airways and Alaska Southern Airways. He was based out of Juneau.
