Description:
Postcard. The front has black and white photograph of a passenger steamship cruiser beached on a grouping of rocks. Steam is still coming out of the ship's one stack. Two life boats have been lowered on the proper right side of the stern. An anchor line is seen extending from the proper left corner of the stern into the water off to the proper left. Men are seen on the deck of the ship at the stern. The grouping of rocks the ship is beached on extend across the middle ground. Mountainous land and sky is seen in the background; water in foreground. In the lower proper left corner is white text reading: ""Princess May" on Sentinel Is. reef, Alaska". In the lower proper right corner is white text reading: "WP. CO."

The back has typed black text along toward the top edge at approximately center which reads: "POST CARD \ CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS". There is also a dashed—line box to the proper right of this text surrounding the text: "PLACE STAMP HERE". At the top of this box are the stylized letters: "EKC".
