Description:
Postcard. The front has black and white photograph of a passenger steamship cruiser. People are seen on all three levels of the steamship. Text on the bow of the ship reads: "ALEUTIAN \ NEW YORK". There is a man is a paddle boat with two oars on the proper right. Another smaller ship is seen behind the steamer to the proper right. Land is seen in the background. Water in foreground.

The back has typed black text along toward the top edge at approximately center which reads: "POST CARD \ CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS". There is also a box to the proper right of this text surrounding the text: "PLACE STAMP HERE". The box consists of the word "AZO" repeated four times, once on each side, and dark square boxes in the four corners. In the upper proper left corner is a purple ink stamp which reads: "THE PHOTO SHOP STUDIO \ SITKA, ALASKA". The purple stamp is partly over the top edge of the word "POST".
