Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard frame (off white with red rear text "Color Transparency" and front logo for Perfect Photo, Inc.). The frame is labeled "Ice—Bergs Glacier Bay 8—18—68" in handwriting. The image shows a wide swath of blue ocean water occupying the entirety of the foreground and the middling area. At the background, a far shore with steeply sloping mountains is visible. In the center of the image, there is a large diamond shaped iceberg with a reasonably flat surface floating on the water. Around it float smaller fragments of ice. A signficant glare from the sun is reflected off the surface of the central iceberg. The number "17" is printed in ink on the frame at the lower right, and the text "AUG68" is etched on the lower edge, possibly signifying the date of development.
