A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "July 4th 1950 Winning Float" in handwriting. The image shows a series two parade floats traveling along the curved street. In the background, the float is boxy and painted in red, white, and blue. The float in the foreground is the winning Beta Sigma Phi float, with the nautical allegories and mermaid costumes. A bus can be seen in the background as well. Storefronts line the street to the right, one bearing the Bus Dep. sign. The crowd lines the sidewalk in front of the storefronts. The number "19" is imprinted on the frame at the upper left.
