A — Album page, 7" x 11.25" manilla paper , with handwritten captions on front and back.

B — Black and white photograph of Taku Glacier. Glacier appears very tall and fills most of photo, with line of water visible at bottom edge and sky across top. Printed in white in lower proper left corner: "Taku Glacier, Alaska (c) 1934 Ordway. 35318". Handwritten caption below photo reads: "This view of Taku will give one some idea as to how the ice at a close up view will look."

C — Black and white photograph of Taku Glacier taken from some distance, with water filling the lower third of photo, and glacier visible as a thick white line across photo's center. Snow—capped mountains and sky with some puffy clouds in background. Printed in white along bottom edge: "35301 / Taku Glacier, Alaska. (c)29 Ordway. Juneau." Handwritten below photo: "One may see by this picture of how it looks before getting as near as the one above. The glacier is said to be about two miles across and about a hundred and fifty feet high or two hundred feet high."

D — Black and white photo of Norris Glacier. Glacier appears in distance across center of photo, with snowy mountains all the way across the background, and water filling the lower half of the photo. Two treetops — one deciduous, one conifer — appear as black silhouettes in lower proper right quadrant. Printed in white across bottom of photo: "#9, Norris Glacier, Alaska WPCo. Juneau". Handwritten below photo: "Before reaching Taku glacier to left as enter Taku this Norris Glacier is seen. It is said that this Glacier is dead."

E — Black and white photo of Juneau High School. School fills most of photograph with numerous houses on hillside in 6th/7th street neighborhood visible in background. Printed in white across bottom of photo: "35036 / Juneau High School Ordway (c) 31". Handwritten below photo: "The High School Building which is just across the street from grade school. Large dwellings in back."
