A: Black and white photographic print of a pump (bilge or fire?) on the deck of a boat. Pump is secured using rope around its wheels and around the body attached to the fence. The cabin of the boat is seen behind the pump. The pump's engine is toward the proper right edge of the image. It is attached to a large fuel tank with three tubes on top. Image has a white border around all four sides.There is a circular stamp located on the back of the image with text reading: "PASSED BY US BASE 1733 ARMY EXAMINER".

Notes:
The US AFF P—510 was an emergency rescue boat in the Aleutians during WWII. 11th Air Force bombed Kiril Islands of Northern Japan in 1943—1945. The 10th Emergency Rescue Boat was assigned to them to recover air crews ditched at sea. The P—510 was built in 1944 by Fellows and Stuart in Wilmington, California with two 1500 HP Packard Engines. It was 85 feet long. Its official description was an Offshore Rescue Boat stationed at Attu.
