Invitation to a Thank You Luncheon. The invitation is a piece of white cardstock folded horizontally. The front cover has the logo for the Capitol City Celebrations. The logo has a blue background, yellow border and yellow text. At the top of the logo is an image of the big dipper and the north star in yellow. Beneath the graphic is the following: "CELEBRATING / STATEHOOD / 1959 — 2009 / ALASKA / 50 " . The "50" is the largest of the text. The back cover and the back (interior) side of the front cover are blank. A piece of white paper is attached to the inside of the card with adhesive. This piece of paper has black text and a small colored photograph. The text above the photograph reads: "It Takes Community \ Leaders and \ Volunteers to Create \ a Celebration!". Text below the photograph reads: "Capital City Celelbrations \ Cordially Invites You to a \ "Thank You" Luncheon \ Saturday, August 22, 11:30 a.m. \ Baranof Hotel — Treadwell Room \ RSVP: juneaucelebrates@yahoo.com \ Or 907—789—2669". The photograph is of the front of the Juneau—Douglas City Museum with a crowd.
