An 11 page booklet single side printed with three folded aerial maps.
The document describes the Second Gastineau Channel Crossing Feasibility Study: Executive Summary Draft Final Report printed in February 1984. The document was prepared by Holden Gerken and Associates with assistance from Environmental Services Limited, Peratrovich, Nottingham and Drage, Inc., The Rowan Group, Transcom, Inc. The aerial map mosaics were prepared by: "WALKER — ALASKA AERIAL SURVEYS, INC." The executive summary has numbered segments: "1. Introduction and Background:"
"2. Community Attitudes and Perceptions:" "3. Study Assumptions:"
"4. Evaluation of Alternatives:" "5. Findings:" Number five has four sub segments. "6. Conclusions:" Number six has three sub segments and nine sub sub segments. "7. Recommendations:" Number seven has two sub segment and 15 sub sub segments.

A separate two page double sided stapled insert is titled: "RECONNAISSANCE STUDY SUMMARY REPORT NORTH DOUGLAS TRANSPORTATION CORRIDOR (BENCH ROAD) WEST JUNEAU TO FISH CREEK ROAD". The insert is separated into sections that are underlined and named: "STUDY PURPOSE, EXISTING ROADWAY, AVAILABLE LAND, PROJECT ALIGNMENT DESCRIPTION, PROJECT COSTS, DEVELOPMENT METHODS, RECOMMENDATIONS, CLOSURE". On the bottom of each page is a horizontal bar from edge to edge with "R&M" within the bar on proper right.
