Official deed for homestead property of Marie W. Peterson at the head of Pearl Harbor, Juneau, Alaska. Page one gives the legal description of the property. On upper proper right of page one and t wo is typed: "Anchorage 05858". On lower proper right corner is printed: "6—2189 GOVERNMENT PRINTING OFFICE".
On page 2 on lower proper right is a red circular wax seal with 2.25" wide x 12" long blue ribbon affixed under it and extending to the top of the page. The red seal reads: "General Land Office * United States". On lower proper left is the capital letter typed date: "TWELTH day of DECEMBER in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and TWENTY—EIGHT and of the Independence of the United States the one hundred and fifty—third". Signed in black ink: "Calvin Coolidge" by "Viola B. Pugh", Secretary, "M. P. LeRoy" Recorder of the General Land Office. On lower proper right corner: "RECORDED: Patent Number 1021493".
On outside cover paper on upper proper left is a stamped form for recording deed and paying filing fee: "...record at 9 o'clock, AM, 3/13/29 and duly recorded in book 30 of Deeds on page 488 489...". Signed by District Recorder: "FA Boyle"; Filing fee: "3.40"; Recorded by: "Aileen M Guyot"
