Paper envelope with blue ink printed symbols on proper right: "totem, fox, "ALASKA 1867—1937" and "First Day Alaska Commerative Stamp". It has a cancelled 3 cent stamp in upper proper left corner. Cancellation stamp in black ink reads: "JUNEAU JAN 2 1PM 1959 ALASKA". Typed on the envelope on mid proper left: "Last Day of Territorial Status".
