Notes:
Governor Palin had a rocky relationship with the City of Juneau. She didn't spend time in Governor's Mansion and seemed to resent having to come to Juneau to perform her official duties. Many people in Juneau seemed to resent her lack of enthusiasm for Juneau and her apparent lack/dislike of the ceremony, pomp and circumstance that is often associated with gubanatorial functions. Others enjoyed her "down to earth" familiarity.
