A: Hardcover book with green cover and black spine. On front is black typed text reading "PURDY'S \ Watch Repairer's Record" \ FROM ................... 19........ \ TO ................... 19........". Handwritten text next to the "FROM" reads 15941 January" and handwritten text next to the first "19" read "43". The front page of the book has black typed text reading: "PURDY'S \ WATCH REPAIRER'S RECORD \ A simple, economic form of recording Watch or Clock repairs, designed by J. H. Purdy, \ after examining nearly one hundred forms of record, used by as many watch repairers. \ Below is a sample of form for one watch, with spaces filled out as an example. \ COPYRIGHT BY JOHN H. PURDY, CHICAGO \ Published by C. & E. Marshall Co. \ CHICAGO \ FOR SALE BY ALL JOBBERS IN UNITED STATES AND CANADA". There is a illustration of a sample entry between the lines "COPYRIGHT BY JOHN H. PURDY, CHICAGO " and "Published by C. & E. Marshall Co.".

Inside there is a section of pages divided by letter as in an address book. These pages have been left blank. After the address book pages there are pages of repair logs which include spaces for dates received, reparied and delivered, owner's name and address, and other notes related to the repair.

B: Small pink cloth with black typed text reading: "PAUL BLOEDHORN \ WATCHMAKER \ JUNEAU, — ALASKA. \ KLEENO—GLASS—KLOTH \ REG. U.S. PAT. OFF." Cloth found within pages of book.
