Saturday September 13, 2003 Reception — 1 pm Riverbend School2901 Riverside Drive, Juneau, Alaska. Rehabilitated Bird Release — 2:30 pm Brotherhood Park".

"On the west side of Juneau's glacier—fed Mendenhall River in the Mendenhall Valley, The Trust of Public Land has protected 10.5 acres once slated for development. Adjacent to Brotherhood Park, the property features a lush meadow and spectacular views of the glacier, and borders the Kaxdigoowu Heen Dei Trail, a popular route for hikers, runners, and cyclists. In addition to becoming part of the signature park, the site will become a new home of the currently displaced Juneau Raptor Center, providing a local facility for wildlife rehabilitation and education about Southeast Alaska's natural history."
